Our Senior Channel Analyst is responsible for leading Channel Management efforts focused on reducing net landed cost and improving supply chain cost to serve. They lead major projects focused on Channel development and support all aspects of data, modeling, dashboarding, and tool development required to provide vendor/item level recommendations that optimize the Supply Chain and Retail Operations. This individual serves as a primary resource to support in vendor and item level flow path decision making and execution. Partnering strategically with Director+ partners inside our Supply Chain, ADUSA, and our Great Local Brand Category Teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Vendor Flow path Optimization: Analyze vendor supply chain health, provide insights, and associated modeling and reporting necessary for the team to work directly with stakeholders to ensure progress is made in a tangible measurable format.
- Provide vendor flow path analysis, vendor health and score carding, and net landed cost performance.
- Deliver data models, workflows, dashboarding, and modeling tools that support the larger team's deliverables in managing and delivering lowest net landed cost to our retail brands.
- Ensure tracking of adopted results of the category review cycle. Score cards and govern results to ensure progress is made in a tangible measurable format.
- Perform Ad Hoc supply chain vendor/item level analysis for key stakeholders.
Relationship Management: Develop strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders
- Develop strategic partnerships with Senior Supply Chain & Brand Leadership, Category, Item Life Cycle, and Shelf Management Teams.
- Understand and deliver insights that support the Vendor/ Item level benefit and role in merchandising/commercial strategy.
Project Management: Directly manage channel management projects and the development of new channels to flow goods inclusive of serving as the lead to facilitate and implement change.

Organizational context: This is a specialist role that is a key member of the Channel Management team that discovers/seeks cost avoidance opportunities and improved net landed cost for all divisions and merchandising teams. Serves as the SME in mining the needed data & tool development that support the channel management components for all ADUSA departments and divisions.
Framework & guidelines: This role supports leadership directly in actively managing vendor & item level flow path with our vendors and category partners. They provide the due diligence and analysis required to drive down costs for our divisions, stores and customers.
Financial dimension: This role assists in providing P&L analysis and business case development for new supply chain models, sourcing constraints, and continuous moves that drive costs down, and creates improved net landed supply chain costs for the divisions and merchants P&L.
Degree of latitude: This position has a degree of latitude to seek out new product flow path and create business cases that support the ADUSA/division goals to improve costs, and service/freshness.
Interactions and relationships: This role interacts with VP+ level supply chain & brand leadership, finance, category teams, procurement, and vendors. Supports in creating the business case and achieving consensus among the group for optimal vendor flow path, cost controls or inventory and vendor minimum guardrails for sourcing.

Qualifications:
Knowledge:
- Possess working knowledge of SQL or other query building tools
- Knowledge and work experience with data mining and/or supply chain
- Solid understanding of E2E Supply Chain networks
- Solid understanding of (our) Supply Chain systems

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Accounting or related field, is required
Experience:
- 3-5 years' experience in Store Operations, DC Operations, Demand Forecasting, Replenishment, Logistics or Category Management
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, PowerBI, misc. database
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Integration and Transformation to ERP (Enterprise Resource Systems)
